welcome to this little place on the web devoted to me, my interest and what i do. my name is Benedikt Böhm, i am working as an open source software developer/maintainer and freelancer. i am also studying computer science at the Free University in Berlin.

my professional main focus is on system administration and automation, system- and webapplication development as well as consulting. i enjoy developing usable and standards-compliant systems, with an emphasis on automated deployment, complete monitoring and backup solutions as well as highly available and redundant cluster systems.

in my spare time i enjoy programming for various open source projects, listening to music, photography and cooking.

this website is primarily a resume/portfolio and home for my open source projects. i used to have a blog but due to lack of interest in writing stuff i now refuse to create another blog with starving content.
